I just cut my hair and now it's all frizzy, what should I do?

I recently just layered my hair for the first time and now I regret it. My hair use to be sleek and shiny and was never too thick or too thin. Now it is dry and frittle and has become frizzy. It is also too thin because that is what happens when you layer hair. My hair is not as beautiful as it once was and my haircut would look great if my hair was poofy and dry. Some of my co- workers recommended oil sheen to me because they say it will make your hair shiny and not poofy anymore. Does anyone have any recommendations as to what to use in this dilemma to fix your hair?

Does anyone else ever feel like they're truly going crazy?

So, I've always been one to worry over little things. (My mom called me a 'worry wart' since I can remember.) As I got older I started getting stressed more & more easily. In high school I remember being extremely anxious when it came to being around a large amount of people & I would get very anxious/stressed over things that should've only been slightly uncomfortable. Instead, these situations were almost unbearable for me. Fast forward a few years, I was 21 & the mother to 2 very young children. I divorced their biological father 2 years ago due to his lack of concern for us & more for drugs. (That's a whole other story) I was working 50+ hours a week as a manager of a restaurant while trying to raise the kids alone. It got to the point where my hair was falling out, I lost 20 lbs in 3 weeks & my eye would twitch b/c I was so stressed. I ended up demoting myself to try to take some of the stress away. Fast forward to now, I'm about to be 24. My kids are now almost 4 & 6. I am engaged to a great guy who let me stop working to spend time with my girls while they're still young. Although I don't work to earn a paycheck, I do everything around the house & get my daughter to school & practices & the other to meetings preparing her for knd. I was recently diagnosed with Fibromyalgia & Social Anxiety Disorder. I was prescribed Cymbalta for the FMA & Klonopin for the SAD. Bother have helped a lot but I still get so incredibly anxious that I seriously feel like I'm literally going insane. My doctor said that's normal during a panic attack, which I have sometimes.) And as much as I know the feeling will p, it still makes me feel hopeless, like by the time I'm in my 40s or 50s I'll be a complete mental mess & be sent to the nut house. Don't get me wrong, dealing with my ex being a dead beat dad, raising 2 young kids, financial worries & everyday stresses is tough but I feel like I'm a wuss & not mentally strong enough. I know somewhere inside I'm a tough women & have dealt with many of lifes blows & come out on top but I feel like it's all finally become to much. So my actual question is, does anyone else have an anxiety disorder and/or feel like this ever? I know I'm not the only one & would appreciate any advice to maybe help. I just want to be happy with my sweet babies & my fiancee. It's to the point he can barely handle me when I'm super anxious & it's hurting our relationship. Any advice/personal experience is appreciated.

However, I have tried Pimsleur and was pleased at how it gets you to "think in the target language" for a few minutes. I thought that was a big help. The drawback of Pimsleur is you don't learn very much in an 8-30 unit lesson. I've learned that to have functional fluency you should know at least 800 words or so. With Pimsleur you probably learn less than 100. Has anyone else who doesn't have a knack for language discovered a language-learning technique that's like Pimsleur but is more extensive?

Aloe plants can be broken apart and replanted. Especially when they are thick or very tall. I would break apart at the root into three and plant those. The tallest ones should be planted in a heavy pot so you can stick in something to hold it up. (anything you have laying around would work, or you can buy some at a store). Just stick in as close to plant as you can and tie the stalk to it with green tape found at craft stores. (thread will cut into the plant and damage it.) :)

Transmission help!!!?

i have an eagle talon 96 with auto transmission. not tsi or esi. but the transmission can not shift into gear "L". i can shift from Park to Reverse to Neutral to Drive to "2" but not to "L". what may be causing this? do i just need to get new transmission fluid? or additive? or is it a major problem?

I'll try to make this as short as possible. I dated a guy for 8 months. I broke up with him about 10 months ago. However, he still says he's in love with me and he knows we're meant to be together and he'll wait as long as he has to in order to be with me. What could cause this in a 12-year-old?

My 12 year old daughter has had headaches for 9 or 10 months. She was taught to rate them on a scale from 1-10, and what used to be 5's and 6's are now up to 9's and 10's. She says they're almost always worse on the right side. She also has dizziness, nausea, fatigue, bad balance, and weakness. Sometimes she does this thing when she scrunches up half of her face a little(I think to make her head feel better), and she's complained about feeling numb in her face. In February we noticed a hard bump on her neck, almost 1 inch in size, that can move about 1/2 cm up and down. She said she noticed it in December. She also moves her eyes back and forth a lot. We're not sure what to think about all this now, because her neurologist says it's nothing and isn't helping at all, and her regular doctor is convinced there may be a tumor in her brain, even with the clear CT scan in August. No medicines or pain relievers are working. We're kind of worried, because they're getting so bad that she doesn't want to do anything anymore, and is always sleeping and falling over. Why is he ignoring me all of a sudden?

Basically I split up with my ex because I had problems including anorexia. I don't like people getting close to me because once my old group of friends found out and they suddenly turned on me calling me for being anorexic and saying things like I deserve to die. Infiniti G37 coupe VS. a Lexus IS 250??

The both come in manual or automatic, but only the IS250 has an AWD version, so if you live in Canada or along the boarder where it snows often the IS250 AWD would be the better option. Quality and reliability are pretty close, though Lexus typically scores a bit higher. The IS250 costs less then the G37, but can't touch the G car in performance though the IS350 comes very close. The IS250 gets about 3-4 mpg more then the G37 and has a tighter turning radius. Even though the G37 is a coupe, the interior size is equal to the IS sedan front/rear space. I think they are both beautiful cars, so the G's biggest win is in performance and its biggest loss is no AWD and worse MPG....so it depends what your needs are as to which car fits you better, I don't think you can go wrong with either.

i had gastric byp surgery about 3 years ago. although i'm really not supposed to, i drink sodas now all the time (diet of course b/c of the sugar thing) but i didnt dare touch a soda for about the first 8 or 9 months after surgery. the main reason is the carbonation. it swells your stomach up causing it to expand, and over time can lead to permanent expansion, and then as time goes on you run the risk of being in the same boat as you were before the surgery. your stomach swells - over time permanently swells- and you can eat just as much as you could before causing weight gain again. i'm just really carefull with it now....hope this answers your question!

The device lives in the left shoulder just under the skin,did the ICD move? Did the lead(s) become disconnected. I'm on my fourth device and had no refittings. Device #2 the battery failed early. When one has a ICD,and pacemaker/defibrillator you exercise slowly, don't need to pedal ninety miles an hour. Don't need to put the heart under stress. Running is not in my vocabulary any more. Try calling the Dr on call. or the hosp. Cardiology fellow or the EP fellow on call. After each event the ICD or P/D should be interrogated to see if the EP Dr. can lower the therapy(Zapping power) down or just checking the information. They will ask what you were doing during the time of the event. Im' seen the EP folks every 4 months or so just to check the device. I have survived 3 separate V-tachs without a ICD. Yes , I have been shocked many times by device # 2 11 times, month later 18 times device was having a problem. Why was it Fitted ??? Take care. Make sure your Dad eats plenty of potium containing foods. Helps keep the arrythmia in check.

My wife and I are hosting sort of a group Valentines Day dinner with our friends. We are going to have meat fondue as the main course. We have been to the melting pot and had a fondue, I am guessing now that it was a broth fondue now that I have looked a little into it. It was watery and flavorful, and delicious. It looked like they added some spices to the broth, too. Does anyone have a recipe for this, or even just know what kind of broth to use to make the fondue so flavorful and delicious? In the past we have only make cheese and chocolate fondues so we are new to meat fondue (except tempura). Any recipes or good sources would be very much appreciated!! Thanks!

What needs to happen is that both mom and BOTH litters need to be together until the first litter is 7-8 weeks old. Then you must the babies from that litter and seperate males from females. Same goes with litter number two. Make sure mama has all she can eat until the babies are old enough to be seperated. Once both litters are weaned, spay the female! Then, 4-6 weeks afte her spay surgery you can begin introductions of your original two rabbits.

Why does my tongue get itchy when I eat certain fruits or nuts?

If I eat apples, peaches, nectarines, pears, sometimes bananas (depending how ripe they are), some melons such as cantaloupe and honeydew, and certain nuts like cashews and almonds, my tongue gets itchy. It's been happening since I was really little and I never knew why. But I can eat applesauce or drink applejuice, which makes it even more strange. The itching happens on the sides of my tongue in the back, if that helps or anything. I also know that one of my aunts and one of my cousins also experiences this. Am I being un-reasonable?

I am a single father of two children a boy 12 and a girl 7. My ex and I split custody of them every other week. Her live in boyfriend has been disciplining our son. I have a problem with this is my ex is usually there when this happens. I was raised to believe that that as my and her job/responsibility. I have sat down with both her and the boyfriend twice now to discuss this and was told that he understood and that it was her job. Now, when I picked them up from her yesterday, my son told me that the boyfriend had made him run around the the house till his back hurt so bad that he was crying, he was then told by the boyfriend that if he sat down he would him, now all of this is while his mother was there. Of course now I am pissed, I text my ex and got no response so I asked the boyfriend, his response was "if I would discipline my son, he would not have to!" This discipline was brought about due to my son yelling for his mother while er mother was asleep(they live with her). I told the boyfriend that this was not what we all agreed to and if he had actually ed my son I would press charges( as my father, a judge, said I could already do if I wanted. So, I ask, am I being unreasonable in that I expect their mother t do HER job when they are there and not to delegate it to her boyfriend?

There's a company called Calcutta that makes polarized gles aimed just for fisherman. They also make braided line and a few other things. They're available almost anywhere including Walmart. Prices range from $10 to $30. I've owned quite a few pairs over the last five years. The last pair I bought were made by Berkley. I've never seen them until recently. I picked them up at Wally World also for around $14. I have no complaints. I know other companies make higher quality optics, but it's hard to beat the price for something that's going to get all scratched up anyway.

I have been on the birth control pill, on and off, for about three years now. I have been a little forgetful with the pill, but we have absolutely never done it without a condom. I have never missed more than two pills at once and always follow the directions for missed pills. Since I've been on birth control, my period has been like clockwork. Then a few months ago, I started to feel peculiar. I had weight gain/bloating, but much more severe than usual. I had cravings and had to urinate frequently, and working in a restaurant I was almost always nauseated. My period finally arrived, two weeks late, and then I couldn't get it to stop. I had already taken two HPTs, several days apart, and got a negative on both. After my period should've come and gone the second time (about 6 weeks of non-stop bleeding) I went to the doctor. She prescribed a hormone pill and instructed me to quit taking my BC pill until I was done with the prescription she had written. She tested for pregnancy and the result was negative... My period is late again this time, only about 5 days so far, but I have had no signs of discharge or blood-- only cramping and bloating. I know that I have gained weight, but I just figured that was due to unhealthy eating habits. Could it be a pregnancy, even though the three tests in the past month and a half said otherwise? If not, what could be causing this?

My plan for fuel in the U.S.?

Alright, if i was in congress, i would implement a bill that would eliminate ethanol subsidies and give it to petroleum based diesel (to get food prices down), also we would implement more nuclear, wind, and water turbine power plants for home power (to cut down on oil usage and stop coal usage for home power..), after that we would use coal to oil technology to get 50% of gasoline and 25% of diesel to be from coal ( i know its not "green", but with the home power coming from mostly "green" sources i feel that it would offset), we would also subsidize biodiesel to the point that we could blend bio to make B25 biodiesel for standard use. So, home power is from mostly "green" sources, transportation fuel (gas and diesel) is 50% MADE IN AMERICA!!!!! Like it? Don't like it? Suggestions? let me know.

From a paranormal standpoint, seeing Spiders, recurring numbers and night terrors?

I am a 28 year old male with no known health problems. I was in my office with the lights off taking a nap around lunch time. I must have been asleep for about 20minutes with my feet propped up on the desk. When I woke up, I looked at my shoes up on the desk and I saw a large black spider crawling on my shoe. I immediately swung at my shoe and got up and glanced around for another spider. I had then realized that there had not been a spider in the room. I googled this and came up with a scientific explanation called Hypnogogic Hallucinations. I am not accepting that this is something that can be scientifically explained. I found out that a spider can be an omen for something major happening in your life regarding life decisions. I also have been seeing the recurring number 9:11 on clocks, license plates, paper dates etc for about three years now. I did ghost hunting for about 2 years and found out that I could hear very faint EVPs and at times could here the voices from my own ears. (messed around with a ghost box a few times). I also had night terrors as a kid. Could this be related to anything paranomral? Hopoefully someone can provide me with some answers or put me on the right track.

About 3 weeks ago my sons bike was stolen from my garden. I reported it but didn't expect much as my son had not chained his bike up. Around the same time, some neighbours and friends were becoming concerned about the presence of a particular van that had been seen several times parked in our street, as well as others. Several bikes were stolen and continue to go missing. Last week i woke up to see the van in my street, and a man jumping into the back of it with my daughters bike! (it was chained up and he had sawed through the chain). I noted the reg number and went right to the police with a good description of the van, driver and the man who took the bike. The police said there was nothing they cold do and didn't even take the reg number from me. I was outraged and made my feelings clear to them. Surely this isn't right? Its blatant theft, surely the police have a responsibility to at least look into this?

Ever been front row?

I'm sure many of you have, but I hadn't until last Wednesday. I've been to a lot of concerts, but the best seats I could ever get were not very close...when I saw Rush, I was in the very back (the second to the last row). Last Wednesday I saw the Black Crowes and it was...dum, dum, dum...general admission! I was as close as you could get...it was pretty perfect. By the end of the concert, I was sweating, tired and a bit nauseous (the mixed smell of cigarettes, marijuana and incense that were burning on the stage got to me) but it was a blast. I got to shake Luther inson's hand and also one of the roadies gave me the set list that they had taped to the stage...it was awesome :-) That show has spoiled me.

Entertaining a two year old in Chicago?

Going to Chicago with my two and a half year old daughter, want to do some fun things with her. Already know about touristy things like Sears Tower and Millennium Park but I was hoping for something more kiddie. Because Raw and ECW is getting boring. I think that the old guys need to retire but WWE needs money especially the ratings are going down with this "PG Era" going on. I don't want to see young wrestlers to get rushed into main event instead I still want them to wait and climb to the top. I installed Directx 9 and then Installed COD2, when installation is complete, I insert the disk and autorun brings up the actievex window, starting up game boot. an error message subsequently pops up claiming an irrepairable error occured in directx and clickig on "ok" automatically routed me to a web page troubleshooter. after exhausting all windows, directx, and intel (my video card driver) troubleshooting options with no different outcomes I would like to know how I can play my new game... please help
