It seems like the army has control for now, and the Egyptian people insist that the Muslim Brotherhood is not a majority, so I would think this is a step in the right direction. The army has always been less feared than the police, and they seem to be more in the corner of the people, so maybe they can be trusted to make reforms, even if Mubarak couldn't. Hopefully they will be able to recover some of the money Mubarak stole, too, so the average Egyptian can have a higher standard of life.
