I want to have a small wedding on Maui, and a reception on the mainland.?

If they both weren't out of work, I'd say that you have every right to have them pay for their airfare, considering that you're paying for everything else. I think that having them pay for half of the airfare and you could pay for the other half, would be pretty fair. Good luck!
