Should religion be clified as a controlled narcotic?

Just seems that the users of both exhibit similar effects. Perhaps religion is worse contemporarily speaking, as some narcotics have been empirically proven to enhance creativity (Decent music production Etc.) and religion remains embroiled in scandal, war and debauchery.
