To the R&S regulars...?

this is more of a political question, but why is it that the right wing conservatives, and the "moral majority" in particular, are so hateful towards all proposals to overhaul the health care system - seems they could at least put forward some ideas of their own, instead of spewing hatred, lies, and misinformation, I have yet to see any right wingers propose anything more than maintaining the status quo and since many of the people in this group profess to be morally upstanding christians, it seems odd they'd attack such a thing that could do so much for so many
