I don't know how to handle this situation anymore.?

I'll try to make this as short as possible. I dated a guy for 8 months. I broke up with him about 10 months ago. However, he still says he's in love with me and he knows we're meant to be together and he'll wait as long as he has to in order to be with me. The thing is I really have no interest in getting back together with him! and I've told him that very clearly-- we will never get back together. He'll leave me along for a week or two, then again profess his love for me. I don't know how to handle him at this point. I've already told him I don't want to get back together with him, and he knows I'm with another guy- yet he clearly doesn't care. Whats the best way to deal with him at this point?
