Why do parents give this type of advice?

Who knows why parents say the things hey do my mom tells me that god loves me and that I will go to heaven and then when I remind her that I am not religious at all she'll say "oh you're going to hell" lol So really hun I'm not sure my advice is to get about there and meet a guy preferably not off the Internet. You sound like you got a great head on you shoulders and you should be able to find a decent guy. Good Luck Hun!!!
