I want a baby?

Hi. I'm 28 and my hubby is 32. When we got married he said he wanted to have at least one more kid (he has two from a previous marriage). Now he says if I stop my birth control he will go get a vasectomy. I don't know what to do, he has never been aggressive or mean to me, now he is mean and rude every since I brought up the subject of a baby....any suggestions?
